RAINBOW CITY, Ala. (AP) — Governor Kay Ivey broke ground Wednesday on a new Challenger Learning Center in Rainbow City, marking a significant investment in educational infrastructure aimed at enhancing STEM opportunities for Alabama students.
Located at 1986 Challenger Way, across from the Rainbow City Mega Sports Complex, the center is part of a global network designed to inspire students and equip them with essential skills for future careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The initiative aligns with Gov. Ivey’s commitment to advancing education throughout the state.
