Doh Scores Late to Lift UAB Past Temple, 1-0

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Humphrey Doh scored in the 84th minute to lift UAB men’s soccer to a 1-0 victory over Temple on Friday night at PNC Field.

Doh found the back of the net at the 83:06 mark for his first goal of the season, breaking a scoreless tie in a tightly contested American Conference matchup.

The Blazers (5-3-5, 2-1-3 American) controlled much of the offensive action, outshooting Temple (2-9-3, 1-5-1) by a 13-5 margin and holding a 9-7 advantage in corner kicks. UAB put five shots on goal.

Defensively, goalkeeper Ethan Schulz recorded three saves to secure his third shutout of the season. The Blazers limited Temple to three shots on target and kept the Owls off the scoreboard throughout the 90 minutes.

UAB returns to action Wednesday, traveling to Springfield, Missouri, to take on the Missouri State Bears.
