JASPER, Ala — Polly Holliday, the Alabama-born actress best known for her sassy, scene-stealing role as Flo on the hit sitcom “Alice,” died Tuesday at her home in Manhattan. She was 88.
Born in Jasper, Alabama, in 1937, Holliday grew up in Walker County before attending the University of Montevallo.
