UAB is 4-4 overall and 2-2 in the American, a perfect 4-0 at home, bouncing back from a 30-10 road loss at South Florida. Charlotte is 1-7 and 1-3 in the league. The series is tied 2-2, and Charlotte is 0-2 in Birmingham.
The Blazers need two wins in their final four games to reach bowl eligibility.
