BIRMINGHAM — Birmingham police have charged a 23-year-old man with murder in the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old woman in the Kingston community on Wednesday night.

Dylan Nash was charged with murder and with certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm in the death of Makayla May Riley, according to the Birmingham Police Department. Nash is being held at the Jefferson County Jail with no bond.
