This October, Theatre Tuscaloosa invites you to step into the delightfully eerie world of “The Addams Family” musical. From October 17-20, 2024, the historic Bama Theatre in downtown Tuscaloosa will transform into the home of everyone’s favorite spooky family.
Based on the beloved characters created by Charles Addams, this musical features a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa. The story follows the quirky and macabre Addams family as they navigate the challenges of love, family, and acceptance when Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, falls in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family. As the two families meet for a fateful dinner, hilarity and chaos ensue.
Theatre Tuscaloosa’s production promises to be a visual and auditory treat, with stunning set designs, elaborate costumes, and a talented cast bringing the characters to life.
