The Birmingham music scene is set to showcase some of its most dynamic talents in an unforgettable night of live music. Leading the charge is Heath Green, a longtime fixture known for his raw, gritty storytelling and electrifying performances. With a career that spans bands like Mudpie, Fishergreen, and the Back Row Baptists, Green’s soulful blend of desperation and redemption has made him a beloved figure in the Magic City. His influences, ranging from the Stones to Ike & Tina Turner, come alive on stage, offering a cathartic rock ’n’ roll experience.
Joining him is Adam Guthrie, another powerhouse in Birmingham’s music community. Guthrie made his mark with the eclectic punk band Pain, and after years of touring and success with their Cartoon Network theme for Jabberjaw, he reunited with his bandmates to form Salvo. With two albums under their belt, Guthrie’s talents as a multi-instrumentalist and producer continue to shape the local sound. His solo work, including the album Stars, adds another layer to his impressive musical repertoire.
Rounding out the night is rising Americana Rock artist Clay Connor. Known for his high-energy shows and a catalog of nine singles, Connor’s debut album, Staring at the Radio, is set to drop in early 2024. His live performances, featuring a mix of original music and classic hits, are a testament to his growing influence in Birmingham’s vibrant music scene.
