In front of you stands the Brown-Marx Building. Up the street you see the Steiner Bank and down the street you see the Alabama theatre. A newsboy is hawking papers. "Extra, extra, read all about it!" He starts toward you. You back away. "Hey, don’t you want to buy a paper? Don’t you want to see how Batman saved the day?"

"There is no Batman, he’s just pretend."

"Well, somebody sure saved the day, and he was dressed like Batman."

"Lots of people dress like Batman these days."

"True, true. So are you gonna get a paper?"
